On-premise SQL Server connector, with no open ports
The AgentUI on-premise SQL Server connector gets your apps the data from a database with no public address. Install it on that server once and it calls out to us over HTTPS. Your firewall stays as it is, and there's no IP to allowlist.

How it reaches a SQL Server with no public address
Your server calls out
The connector opens an outbound HTTPS connection to AgentUI on port 443. That's the only connection it needs.
Requests come back down the same line
An app or the AI asks for data, the request travels down that connection, and the connector runs it on SQL Server.
Only the rows go back
The rows go straight to the app that asked. Nothing is copied or synced, so the database only lives on your server.
What connecting an office SQL Server used to take
Before
- Email support to get our IP address
- Expose the database to the internet
- Add a firewall rule for that IP
- No public address? It can't connect at all
With the connector
- Install one service on the server
- Nothing is exposed to the internet
- No firewall change
- Works with no public address
What your IT team will ask about
- It can only read. It runs SELECT and WITH queries and rolls each one back when it finishes.
- The database password never leaves that server, and on Windows it's encrypted. We keep only a fingerprint of the connector key.
- Need to cut it off? Revoke the connector and its key stops working within 25 seconds.
- The Your connectors page shows which servers are online and which aren't.
Works with any SQL Server you run in-house
If it's Microsoft SQL Server on an office or private network, the connector can read it: your ERP, the accounting system, a warehouse or production database, or the line-of-business app someone built years ago. It shows up in AgentUI as "<name> (on-prem)", and your apps and the AI query it from there.
The most common case is SAP Business One on a Windows server. See SAP Business One dashboards
Install on Windows, macOS or Linux
Windows
Double-click the .exe. It runs as a Windows service, and the database password is stored encrypted.
macOS
Double-click the .pkg, or paste the one-line command the app shows you.
Linux
Install the .deb or paste one command. It runs as a service like the others.
You don't need Node.js. If the server crashes or reboots, the service starts itself again. Running several sites? Add up to 20 connectors per workspace, one per server.
Limits worth knowing before you install
- It reads Microsoft SQL Server only. If your data sits in MySQL, PostgreSQL or Oracle, this connector won't reach it.
- Each query can return up to 1,000 rows and run for up to 30 seconds.

Give your apps the data that lives in the office
Send your IT person the Word setup guide, with screenshots in their language. If they'd rather not do it alone, one of us walks them through the install.
